“Nain” means “Eyes” and “Kunj” means “Abode”

With God’s grace & Mother’s unseen watchful eyes, we hope to cater to the needs of guests well & make a point they go satisfied & happily from our home carrying, pleasant memories with them.

“Nain’s Kunj – A Travellers Home”, Welcomes, its guests for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a reasonable expense, alongwith a local Rathore Rajput family of (Raoti)Jodhpur. Raoti is situated just on the foothills of the Meherangarh Fort.

Although, situated at the “Heart of Suncity”. It is away from cacaphony of the Busy Streets. “Nain’sKunj – A Travellers Home”, is approximately 3 kms from the Famous Umaid Bhawan Palace. The Main Paota Bus Stop and Airport are also of same distance and Railway Station is 1.5kms only.

This Homestay’s name is dedicated to our beloved mother “Late Rani Nain Kanwarji” (w/o Late Capt. Maharaj Mohan Singhji). He was a good tennis
player of Rajasthan in his times. They both loved cooking.

Manohar Singh 

Grandson of Late Maharaj Ratan Singhji (Raoti) who was good Horse Polo Player of yesteryears. Manohar ,is also a good horse rider and was a National Cycle Polo Player ( represented West Bengal). Also worked as a Race Day Offical in Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) .Is also keen Golfer. He loves talking to guest about Jodhpur’s history etc.

Rashmi Singh

Being an Artist ever since childhood, I create freehand designs on textiles etc, under the creation name “Wings of Imagination”. After Post Graduation in Interior Designing from Jenson & Nicholson India LTD, Kolkata. My love  for cooking and trying out new recipes got me to devote myself with my husband to start and run NainsKunj.

Activities

Cooking and Painting are almost like a part of my Life I simply cannot do without these two . Previously, as a child it was my hobby, and as my Mom Indira Kumari Singh Deo who was an Expert in cooking and I too developed the same interest like hers. After marriage I came across my mother-in-law, Rani Nain Kanwarji , who, an excellent Cook, was an expert in Rajasthani Dishes. With the Guidance and Expert Tips from both and self Interest in Cooking I made it my profession in small way. I love trying out new dishes & love playing with spices and ingredients to create new ways of Cooking of my own.

Here at “Nain’s Kunj- A Travelers Home” Cooking Demonstrations can be provided only for Guests who stay with us on prior request with an extra charge..


Nain’s Kunj – A Travelers Home, has a In-house Boutique, with paintings under the creation name “Wing’s Of Imagination”. Designs and Freehand Paintings are created on the spot by me as a part of the painting activity here.
